I love that store, I buy things like party supplies, and seasonal items such as christmas decorations, halloween decorations ect... also wrapping papers and gift bags and stuff like that.
Yes and you can find name brand things in there for only one dollar. I try to stay away from some plastic products. I bought a doll, but after taking it out of the package, it couldn't hold up its' head, because it was too heavy. This should have had a warning label on it. The stationery products are a good value.
There is one that is OK, they actually sell stuff I buy and the inventory changes regularly so you never know what you will find there. I've bought allot of Black and Decker stuff there that would have cost much more elsewhere. Not everything is a deal or even worth buying but some stuff is. My mother in law likes the word puzzle books that cost me around $3 if I buy them elsewhere. As Twisted Child said, Awesome cleaner is awesome. I know a restaurant that does a bi-annual strip down of their kitchen and they have found it to be the best/cheapest to use product out there as well. You could probably degrease an engine with the stuff!
HECK YEAH!.... i love that store!.. i get everything there!... my teenagers get razors/deodorant/shave cream/toothpaste/ you name it, they stock up there... i like the hair clips and scrunchies.. party supplies.. and dog bowls.. dog toys.. and the big 99cent store by me, now carries a lot of food, and lot of it is manufactured in the USA.... I love that store.... ... i just have NOT gotten brave enough to eat the meats LOL... gray bologna just does not look tasty LMAO....
Being in such a rural area, it is the Dollar General or Wal Mart. Why go spend$3.59 when I can get the same brand at DG for $2.25? All my cleaning and paper goods come from there as well as most of my small stuff like coffee mugs, plastic containers, toiletries, and sometimes houseshoes, socks, and nities. They have good stuff very often, you just have to catch it before it sells out. Yes, some stuff is chinese junk, but when you need an ashtray you are going to toss when guests leave, who cares?
they have some things that are a creative base to a gift. Somethings you make from their supplies are way more appreciated than a normal gift.
I love Dollar Tree, the have this cleaner called Awesome for a buck, and it cleans everything. ... Plus I find cute little hair stuff their for my niece :)

I disagree with Russ. you can find a lot of "made in china" crap... hahaha ... cool crap for dumb dogs though... labs destroy anything you give them... so I have no problem spending 4 bucks

I love the dollar store. I get some great soaps and aspirin there.

I go rarely and I promised myself to go in december but I didn't. I love it there. I will get whatever is there that I will normally buy but will not substitute some things like for instance my deodorant must be my kind. But I figure as long as it is only a dollar I can give some new things a try!
well, now they have things that are definately not a buck. ... ... its okay, if you like cheap easily breakable stuff......of course some stuff is worth getting there, cause, it would be easily breakable no matter where you went.
I can't say I have been to the dollar store, I like my Ocean State Job Lot....it's kind of a step up from the dollar store but you can still find things for a dollar...I like getting my stationary there...I LOVE to write letters to people...It's to bad email has taken over the whole letter sending things!
