September 9, 2008 - I am planning a trip at the end of the month, I am staying 2 nights so I can enjoy the shopping and views :)

Was in Frankenmuth back in June and was very disappointed!!! A lot of the downtown shops are closed, the cute little mall it is called River something (can't remember it) has most of the shops closed. Michigans bad econmy has really hurt Frankenmuth. Don't let that get you down, go and make the best of it like I did. Have fun!!!!!
- Go to Frankenmuth's Chamber of Commerce website: http://www.frankenmuth.org/index.php?page_id=53 They have a Bavarian Bargains card that gives you discounts at many stores. And it's free! Hope this helps...
