What are you using to type on here right now? Why not just use the computer you have. Education does not actually require a computer, sure it makes it easier, but it is not necessary. Hard work dedication will get you educated. People with less have achieved an education, without a computer.
- try starting at your local libraries... i know that a lot of cities now , provide computers for public use.... and some libraries have state/city funded programs that will donate a computer to students if they complete a program/educational course.... worth looking into, i dont know what your city offers.. but give it a try!

- Well, most college's offer some type of discount on new computers through partnerships with certain computer manufacturers. But probably the best method to obtain a computer for your studies is from websites like http://www.freecycle.com. Poeple instead of throwing things away post adds to give things away to poeple that can use the items. These sites are very strict and if caught getting things from these sites and then selling them on Ebay or someother site, will ban you from the program. The site listed above is nation wide.
